To be honest, I do not think that gender has a significant concern in the United States when we are talking about the resilience or disaster risk reduction because I believe that every person should be given the equal opportunity to be able to work and become independent. There are certain jobs which do not allow women to work in some of the jobs where there are specifications for conducting the tasks that are only provided to men. While watching the video, it was clear that if we look at the overall conditions of women, it can be said that there are a lot of risk factors which contribute to the requirements of women living in the societies.
